My sister and I tried Smiley's for the first time yesterday. It's nice to have a barbecue restaurant in the area. The cashier/waitress was very friendly and always made sure our drinks were filled. Their sweet tea is very good. We both got the buffet and there were plenty of options. I enjoyed the mustard based pulled pork. I tried the vinegar based, but wasn't a fan. The green beans were perfectly seasoned and tasted like grandma's. The macaroni and cheese, fried chicken and hash were very good too. Other choices included: corn, catfish stew, baked beans, ribs, potato salad, coleslaw, hush puppies and more. Desserts consisted of a brownie dessert, banana pudding and jello. I tried the first two and they were good. The price of the buffet is around $12 and drink is included (tea, lemonade, water). I'd definitely go back if I were in the mood for barbecue.
Oh my gosh . This place is southern cooking at its best. I have never had a better pork chop. Don't leave here without eating there hash. It's to die for. This place is a gem. The price is perfect. Don't miss it.
Friendly service and great food. Lots of items to chose from, so bring an appetite. Three types of BBQ. Freshy made chicken salad. Banana pudding and several cobblers. Everything is made fresh daily. Senior citizen discounts, first responder discounts and military discounts. YES, they do cater. Bring a friend or several friends. They are only open Thursday - Sunday.
The Food is incredible and service is fast with kind waiters. The Owners are very Icy and Smiley and they have the Best Beef Hash in the Business! They do Military Discounts for all Veterans and Active Duty with proper ID. I have order many excellent dishes off there Home made by hand menu. There "SOUL BREAD" is so delicious and once you taste,you want more! As a Retired Veteran that loves Collards there freshly cooked with smoked flavor that will have your taste buds popping!
